I’m Craig! I live in the UK with these two money-draining, pains in the backside awesome girls!
I’ve used a variety of Microsoft technologies for over 20 years, including Visual Basics, SQL, SSRS, SharePoint (on-premise and Online), InfoPath, SharePoint Designer and most of the wider Microsoft 365 services. Since 2016, I’ve been heavily absorbed in the Power Platform stack; back then it was Power BI, PowerApps (without the space!) and Flow. It’s changed and grown a bit since. I currently work for a large Microsoft Gold Partner in the UK, as a Power Platform / Low Code Ecosystem Architect.
I’ve long had an ambition to start my own technical blog, probably going back as far as 2011 when finding Chris O’Brien’s post about his SharePoint Content Deployment Wizard (a friend and I still reminisce about using it!). It’s taken a while, but I’m finally here. I’ve always found huge satisfaction in helping others, be it with their careers, increasing their knowledge, honing their softer (essential) skills or empowering them to be a better version of themselves – though until now, that’s only been in the workplace. By starting this blog, I hope to help others in the same, or different ways.
This space will largely cover lots of my personal Power Platform / Low Code builds, as well as my take on new features across the Microsoft 365 and Low Code landscapes. I’ll also do my best to share lots of tips and tricks I’ve learned too. Some content might have been blogged about before, but I hope to add my own quirky spin & experience on things, plus a sprinkling of my politically incorrect humour that has made me so famous amongst my peers.
I’m extremely lucky to have been recognised as a Business Applications MVP for Power Apps since January 2024.
